# Outsite vs STEII

The clearest difference is rating: STEII at 5.0 against Outsite's 3.7. STEII also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Outsite's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

STEII holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Outsite has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Outsite ships an update every 6 weeks, STEII every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
