# Smart STB vs MySTB

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MySTB at 78% against Smart STB's 17%. MySTB also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Smart STB's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart STB sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and MySTB sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
