# Sweet Dots vs NomNak

The clearest difference is update cadence: NomNak at every 3 days against Sweet Dots's every 14 months. Sweet Dots's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Sweet Dots against 5.0 for NomNak. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sweet Dots has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sweet Dots ships an update every 14 months, NomNak every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
