# omPoint vs Staraxy

The clearest difference is ratings volume: omPoint at 112 against Staraxy's 10. omPoint also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Staraxy's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. omPoint sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Staraxy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for omPoint against 4.7 for Staraxy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: omPoint has 112 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 94% of omPoint's written reviews are positive against 88% of Staraxy's.

omPoint ships an update fortnightly, Staraxy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
