# Task Now vs Tjime

The clearest difference is rating: Tjime at 4.7 against Task Now's 4.5. Tjime also leads on ratings volume (52 vs 4). Task Now's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Now sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tjime sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tjime holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tjime has 52 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Task Now ships an update every 9 days, Tjime every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
