# Mind Switch vs BioMIR

The clearest difference is price: Mind Switch at Free against BioMIR's $7.99. Mind Switch also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). BioMIR's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). On rating, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Mind Switch is free to download; BioMIR costs $7.99 up front. Mind Switch sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $10.49 per month and BioMIR sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Mind Switch against 5.0 for BioMIR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mind Switch has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mind Switch ships an update every 2 weeks, BioMIR every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
