# Note Beast vs DocDock Connect

The clearest difference is update cadence: DocDock Connect at every 5 days against Note Beast's every 5 weeks. DocDock Connect also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Note Beast's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Note Beast sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and DocDock Connect sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
