# Edforma vs Now

The clearest difference is rating: Edforma at 5.0 against Now's 4.5. Edforma also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). Now's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Edforma holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Now has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Edforma ships an update every 2 weeks, Now weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
