# iTranscribe vs TrendMint

The clearest difference is ads: TrendMint at none against iTranscribe's shown. iTranscribe's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and chart position (#156 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iTranscribe sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and TrendMint sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
