# Letterfull vs Pet Jima

The clearest difference is price: Pet Jima at Free against Letterfull's $2.99. Pet Jima also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 25 months). Letterfull's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

Pet Jima is free to download; Letterfull costs $2.99 up front. Pet Jima sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Letterfull asks for nothing beyond the download.

Letterfull holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pet Jima has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Letterfull's written reviews are positive against 80% of Pet Jima's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Letterfull ships an update every 25 months, Pet Jima every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
