# Translucent vs EasyProject

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EasyProject at 100% against Translucent's 20%. EasyProject also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.7). Translucent's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (27 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Translucent sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EasyProject sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EasyProject holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Translucent has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Translucent's written reviews are positive against 100% of EasyProject's.

Translucent ships an update every 3 weeks, EasyProject every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
