# Creativist vs NOVA

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Creativist at 67% against NOVA's 37%. Creativist also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). NOVA's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 5) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Creativist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NOVA holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Creativist's written reviews are positive against 37% of NOVA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Creativist ships an update every 4 weeks, NOVA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
