# Motag vs intertechno Selection

The clearest difference is update cadence: intertechno Selection at every 4 weeks against Motag's every 9 months. Motag's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Motag ships an update every 9 months, intertechno Selection every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and May 28, 2026 respectively.
