# Whosit vs Shield Shift Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shield Shift Tracker at every 2 days against Whosit's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whosit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and Shield Shift Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Whosit ships an update every 3 weeks, Shield Shift Tracker every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
