# TRYO vs Hat Finder

The clearest difference is rating: Hat Finder at 5.0 against TRYO's 4.5. Hat Finder also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). TRYO's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hat Finder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TRYO has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TRYO ships an update every 3 weeks, Hat Finder every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
