# 字体 vs Daily Notes

The clearest difference is ads: 字体 at none against Daily Notes's shown. Daily Notes's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 8 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 字体 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Daily Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

字体 ships an update every 8 months, Daily Notes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
