# Lockera vs Timesheet tasks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timesheet tasks at every 3 weeks against Lockera's every 2 months. Lockera's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lockera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Timesheet tasks sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timesheet tasks holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 17 and 32 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Lockera's written reviews are positive against 77% of Timesheet tasks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lockera ships an update every 2 months, Timesheet tasks every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
