# Findy! Cats vs Spot it

The clearest difference is rating: Spot it at 4.0 against Findy! Cats's 2.9. Findy! Cats's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 0%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spot it holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Findy! Cats has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Findy! Cats's written reviews are positive against 0% of Spot it's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Findy! Cats ships an update fortnightly, Spot it every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
