# eratu vs TopStories

The clearest difference is rating: TopStories at 4.8 against eratu's 4.3. TopStories also leads on ratings volume (45 vs 8) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 14.0). eratu's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eratu sells 67 one-off in-app purchases and TopStories sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TopStories holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TopStories has 45 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of eratu's written reviews are positive against 88% of TopStories's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
