# Skiwit vs Big Picture Skiing

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skiwit at every 8 days against Big Picture Skiing's monthly. Skiwit also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skiwit sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Big Picture Skiing sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skiwit ships an update every 8 days, Big Picture Skiing monthly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
