# Almanasa vs Tour

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tour at 100% against Almanasa's 40%. Tour also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). Almanasa's advantage is ratings volume (35K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Almanasa sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Tour asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tour holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Almanasa has 35K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Almanasa's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tour's.

Almanasa ships an update every 2 weeks, Tour every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
