# Liquipedia vs RocketTrainer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RocketTrainer at 100% against Liquipedia's 53%. RocketTrainer also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.5) and ads (none vs shown). Liquipedia's advantage is ratings volume (91 vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Liquipedia sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per year and RocketTrainer sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RocketTrainer holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Liquipedia has 91 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 53% of Liquipedia's written reviews are positive against 100% of RocketTrainer's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
