# Poe vs MaxFlow HR

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MaxFlow HR at none against Poe's 6. MaxFlow HR also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.4). Poe's advantage is ratings volume (54K vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Poe sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. MaxFlow HR asks for nothing beyond the download.

MaxFlow HR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Poe has 54K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Poe ships an update every 2 weeks, MaxFlow HR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
