# Time Progress Gauges vs Current

The clearest difference is price: Time Progress Gauges at Free against Current's $0.99. Time Progress Gauges also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and device support (3 vs 1). Current's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Time Progress Gauges is free to download; Current costs $0.99 up front. Time Progress Gauges sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Current sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Time Progress Gauges holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Current has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on July 10, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
