# Dot3D vs Night Vision

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dot3D at 82% against Night Vision's 35%. Dot3D also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Night Vision's advantage is ratings volume (517 vs 103). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dot3D sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month and Night Vision sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dot3D holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Night Vision has 517 ratings behind it against 103, so its average is the more settled of the two.
