# Brass Practice Partner vs Neotones

The clearest difference is update cadence: Neotones at every 2 weeks against Brass Practice Partner's every 3 months. Brass Practice Partner's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brass Practice Partner sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Neotones sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
