# Lock Screen 27 vs Fonts

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lock Screen 27 at fortnightly against Fonts's every 5 weeks. Lock Screen 27 also leads on ratings volume (7.8K vs 1.4K). Fonts's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen 27 sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Fonts sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Lock Screen 27 against 4.5 for Fonts. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Screen 27 has 7.8K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 71% and 71% positive.

Lock Screen 27 ships an update fortnightly, Fonts every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
