# German Translator vs Notebook Scanner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notebook Scanner at weekly against German Translator's every 2 months. German Translator's advantage is iOS requirement (15.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. German Translator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Notebook Scanner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
