# Call Recorder with Transcript vs ACR

The clearest difference is ads: ACR at none against Call Recorder with Transcript's shown. ACR also leads on review sentiment (30% vs 0%) and ratings volume (74 vs 5). Call Recorder with Transcript's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Call Recorder with Transcript sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and ACR sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Call Recorder with Transcript holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ACR has 74 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Call Recorder with Transcript's written reviews are positive against 30% of ACR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Call Recorder with Transcript ships an update every 4 days, ACR every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
