# Celer vs BioDoc

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BioDoc at 100% against Celer's 57%. BioDoc also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 17.0). Celer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (21 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Celer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and BioDoc sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BioDoc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Celer has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Celer's written reviews are positive against 100% of BioDoc's.

Celer ships an update every 10 days, BioDoc fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
