# PixiDrop vs Punge

The clearest difference is rating: PixiDrop at 5.0 against Punge's 3.3. PixiDrop also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). Punge's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Punge sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. PixiDrop asks for nothing beyond the download.

PixiDrop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Punge has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PixiDrop ships an update monthly, Punge fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
