# FIT vs SomaSync

The clearest difference is rating: SomaSync at 5.0 against FIT's 4.0. SomaSync also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). FIT's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (20 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FIT sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $37.00 per month and SomaSync sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $16.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SomaSync holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FIT has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FIT ships an update every 2 months, SomaSync every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
