# Animal Posing vs AnimCreate

The clearest difference is rating: Animal Posing at 4.0 against AnimCreate's 3.3. Animal Posing also leads on ratings volume (21 vs 7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). AnimCreate's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (60% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Animal Posing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AnimCreate sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Animal Posing holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21 and 7 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Animal Posing's written reviews are positive against 60% of AnimCreate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Animal Posing ships an update every 3 months, AnimCreate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
