# WatchSpotter vs FathomVerse

The clearest difference is rating: WatchSpotter at 5.0 against FathomVerse's 4.7. WatchSpotter also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (13 vs 15.0). FathomVerse's advantage is ratings volume (92 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

WatchSpotter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FathomVerse has 92 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
