# RC Digital vs EQUIS

The clearest difference is update cadence: EQUIS at every 2 weeks against RC Digital's every 4 months. RC Digital's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RC Digital ships an update every 4 months, EQUIS every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
