# Lock Screen Widgets Live vs PetWidgets

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lock Screen Widgets Live at 85% against PetWidgets's 30%. Lock Screen Widgets Live also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (146 vs 8). PetWidgets's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Widgets Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PetWidgets sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PetWidgets holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lock Screen Widgets Live has 146 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Lock Screen Widgets Live's written reviews are positive against 30% of PetWidgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lock Screen Widgets Live ships an update every 2 weeks, PetWidgets every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
