# LiveNote vs CanGoal

LiveNote and CanGoal both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of CanGoal's written reviews are positive against 77% of LiveNote's. CanGoal also leads on ratings volume (73 vs 5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LiveNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and CanGoal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for LiveNote against 4.7 for CanGoal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CanGoal has 73 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of LiveNote's written reviews are positive against 95% of CanGoal's.

LiveNote ships an update every 8 days, CanGoal every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
