# PFLOW vs Muscle Mentor

The clearest difference is rating: Muscle Mentor at 5.0 against PFLOW's 4.5. Muscle Mentor also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). PFLOW's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PFLOW sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Muscle Mentor sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Muscle Mentor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PFLOW has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PFLOW ships an update every 4 months, Muscle Mentor every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
