# Edison House vs TenantKit

The clearest difference is rating: TenantKit at 5.0 against Edison House's 4.4. TenantKit also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 4 months). Edison House's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TenantKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Edison House has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Edison House ships an update every 4 months, TenantKit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
