# DealDog vs Croissant

DealDog and Croissant both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of DealDog's written reviews are positive against 62% of Croissant's. DealDog also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Croissant's advantage is ratings volume (556 vs 27) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for DealDog against 4.7 for Croissant. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Croissant has 556 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of DealDog's written reviews are positive against 62% of Croissant's.

DealDog ships an update every 3 weeks, Croissant every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
