# AI Image Generator vs Visual AI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Visual AI at 83% against AI Image Generator's 25%. Visual AI also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks). AI Image Generator's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (687 vs 12). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AI Image Generator sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Visual AI sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AI Image Generator holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AI Image Generator has 687 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of AI Image Generator's written reviews are positive against 83% of Visual AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AI Image Generator ships an update every 3 weeks, Visual AI every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
