# Lively Widget vs Interactive Widgets

The clearest difference is ads: Lively Widget at none against Interactive Widgets's shown. Lively Widget also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 56%). Interactive Widgets's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lively Widget sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Interactive Widgets sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Interactive Widgets holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Lively Widget's written reviews are positive against 56% of Interactive Widgets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lively Widget ships an update monthly, Interactive Widgets every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
