# Calendar vs NoteGuru

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Calendar at 75% against NoteGuru's 0%. Calendar also leads on ratings volume (35 vs 1). NoteGuru's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calendar sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and NoteGuru sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteGuru holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calendar has 35 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Calendar's written reviews are positive against 0% of NoteGuru's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calendar ships an update every 5 weeks, NoteGuru every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
