# Class Rate vs MyTA App

The clearest difference is update cadence: Class Rate at every 2 weeks against MyTA App's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Class Rate sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year and MyTA App sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
