# SAND vs PsiLoops

The clearest difference is update cadence: PsiLoops at every 6 days against SAND's every 2 months. PsiLoops also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 79%). SAND's advantage is ratings volume (89 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SAND sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and PsiLoops sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PsiLoops holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SAND has 89 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of SAND's written reviews are positive against 100% of PsiLoops's.

SAND ships an update every 2 months, PsiLoops every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
