# Lie Detector vs QuestMe

The clearest difference is rating: Lie Detector at 4.4 against QuestMe's 3.7. Lie Detector also leads on review sentiment (41% vs 0%) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 3). QuestMe's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lie Detector sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and QuestMe sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lie Detector holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lie Detector has 1.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Lie Detector's written reviews are positive against 0% of QuestMe's.

Lie Detector ships an update every 7 months, QuestMe every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
