# FLEXX Studios vs SEV

The clearest difference is monetization model: SEV at free against FLEXX Studios's free with in-app purchases. SEV also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). FLEXX Studios's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (80 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FLEXX Studios holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FLEXX Studios has 80 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FLEXX Studios ships an update every 3 weeks, SEV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
