# Magic Theme vs Wallzy

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Magic Theme at 1.2K against Wallzy's 24. Wallzy's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magic Theme sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Wallzy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Magic Theme against 4.8 for Wallzy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Theme has 1.2K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Magic Theme's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wallzy's.

Magic Theme ships an update every 3 weeks, Wallzy fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
