# NOVA vs IBIY

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IBIY at none against NOVA's 3. IBIY also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 37%) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). NOVA's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 8) and chart position (#168 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. IBIY asks for nothing beyond the download.

IBIY holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of NOVA's written reviews are positive against 67% of IBIY's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
