# NOVA vs FindR

The clearest difference is rating: FindR at 5.0 against NOVA's 4.3. FindR also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (60% vs 37%). NOVA's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOVA sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. FindR asks for nothing beyond the download.

FindR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOVA has 1.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of NOVA's written reviews are positive against 60% of FindR's.

NOVA ships an update every 3 weeks, FindR every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
